Navigation lights and day shapes are not included in this module, as they are covered separately.

This test will assess your knowledge of the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code – a key IMO instrument designed to protect maritime transport against threats such as terrorism, piracy, and other unlawful acts. The questions cover security levels, assigned roles and responsibilities, as well as measures for prevention and response to potential incidents.
ISM Code — International Safety Management
This test is designed to assess your knowledge of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code, its principles, and its practical application to ensure safe ship operations and protection of the marine environment. The questions focus on the requirements of the Safety Management System, crew responsibilities, reporting procedures, and operational standards established by the Code.
MLC — Maritime Labour Convention
This test will assess your knowledge of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC 2006). The questions cover seafarers’ rights, minimum requirements for working and living conditions, health protection, social security, and other key aspects related to labour rights on board ships.
MARPOL — Prevention of Pollution from Ships
This test will help you assess your knowledge of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) – the principal international instrument for the protection of the marine environment. The questions cover regulations on the handling, storage, and transport of substances, as well as the disposal of wastes such as cleaning agents and wash water from cargo holds.
LSA Code - Life Saving Appliance.
The International Life-Saving Appliance Code establishes comprehensive safety requirements at sea, covering a wide range of equipment such as lifeboats, liferafts, lifejackets, lifebuoys, and lifelines. These regulations set standards for the design, equipment, testing, and operation of life-saving appliances, ensuring their reliability and effectiveness in emergency situations.
