Support Level (Deck Crew).
This CES test is designed for support-level crew members working on container vessels. It covers basic ship terminology, cargo operations assistance, seamanship, and essential safety procedures. The aim is to verify fundamental knowledge required for daily duties under the supervision of officers.
IMDG Code – General Competence
This test evaluates your knowledge of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods – the global standard for the safe transport of hazardous cargo by sea. It covers cargo classification, labeling, documentation, stowage, segregation, and packaging, as well as compliance with safety procedures to prevent accidents, protect life at sea, and safeguard the marine environment.
Basic Competencies for Junior Officers
This test covers the fundamental aspects of working on container vessels: cargo securing, port operations, transport safety, and interaction with crew and dock workers. It is designed to assess the basic knowledge and skills required for service in the container fleet.
Chief Officer Competency
This test is designed to assess the knowledge and skills required of a Chief Officer on container vessels. It covers ballast operations, dangerous goods safety (IMDG), ship stability, and the organization of cargo handling.
